Hands off her butt!

US singer Taylor Swift was groped by a DJ during a photo shoot. This is according to details of the incident that have just been released. An extract from the statement she gave after the incident was published in Marie Claire and Swift tells how she felt distressed and violated.


She says the incident happened at a pre-concert ‘meet and greet’ in 2013. This was a public event where the singer was greeting and thanking people, welcoming them to her home. She said that during a photo the man - DJ David Mueller - allegedly slipped his hand under her dress and fondled her butt.


T-Swift said she tried to move away as the cameras kept rolling, but he kept his hand firmly placed on her bum. She said the whole thing felt 'very intentional'. There is reportedly a photo of the incident which is sealed and for the court's eyes only.


Mueller was fired two days later. In 2015 he sued Swift for slander, accusing the singer of lying and costing him his job. Marie Claire reports she then countersued him for assault and battery, and said any proceeds would be donated to charities that protect women from sexual assault.

Nobody can touch any part of your body in a sexual way without your permission. Sometimes girls worry about getting a guy in trouble if they "tell" on him, but remember that he's the one acting inappropriately, not you.
