Hardly anyone likes advice.

Usually, when we give advice to someone, we feel we know better than them and that we are wiser. So, we are looking down at the listener and this will stop them from talking to us. Giving advice always creates resistance in the listener and disrupts the flow of conversation.

Therefore, make sure never to give advice!
