Forms of gender based violence

Adolescents and young girls with disabilities can be subjected to the following forms of gender-based violence:

• Child marriage;
• Female genital mutilation;
• Trafficking for sex or slavery;
• Intimate partner violence;
• Physical punishment;
• Sexual, emotional or psychological violence and rape;
• Sexual harassment;
• Bullying.
